MendisOne is a vertically integrated business in the services industry sectors including Tourism & Event Management covering all aspect of the industries, offering a range of services, globally. We wish to recruit a high caliber individual with great enthusiasm for the above position.

The selected candidate must perform various functions in ensuring that an event goes smoothly, without glitches and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns that promote company’s services.

Responsibilities;

• Create budgets, deliver events on time and within budget
• Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and promotions process for new business opportunities
• Planning and assisting in all promotions related activities
• Ensure issues that arise during any events are resolved without disturbing the occasion
• Ensure the satisfaction of customers, event attendees
• Communicate, maintain, and develop client relationships
• Travel to sites for inspect of ongoing arrangements, preparations, and changes needed to meet the needs of the client
• Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks

• GCE, Advance Level qualification, and any qualification related to Event Management / Hospitality / Marketing 
• Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience of planning, coordinating and organizing events
• A very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Excellent PR, Communication skills with a passion for work
• Good computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives

• Living in or in close proximity to Rajagiriya would be advantageous
